On Friday 26th April, Barton Inclusive FC – Hull welcomed Paul Spence, Founder and CEO of P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery to their Friday night training evening.

BIFC – Hull volunteer Welfare Officer Katrina Mclane, who organised the visit, shared:

“Thanks so much Paul Spence for giving up the time to come talk to BIFC – Hull players.

Paul gave his One Punch Ruins Lives talk sharing his lived experiences of brain injury to raise awareness of the impact of violence.

Players found it really interesting and then ran out for a fab Friday night session.”

Players from our Vikings and Rovers teams were incredibly engaged, and asked really thought provoking questions to develop their understanding.
